General Monthly Meetings

The opportunity to host one general monthly meeting to be held between October 2014 and August 2015 at the Industry Partner’s showroom or place of business

Criteria:

General Meetings are held the 3rd Wednesday of each month a meeting is scheduled.

Showroom must accommodate 100 people with ample parking

Industry Partner sponsors a complete dinner/wine/dessert and raffle prizes (menu to be approved by Programs team ahead of time)

Speaker provided by ASID (or sponsored by hosting Industry Partner with ASID’s approval) – topics can complement the hosting showrooms product offerings but cannot be on a subject directly related to (i.e. a tile showroom cannot  offer a CEU or speaking topic on tiles)

Typically held from 6:00-9:00pm

Programs team support available to help you create the most effective and exciting program for the evening

Lunch & Learns/Technology Tuesdays

These are quarterly information sessions to be held at the ASID Orange County Office at the Laguna Design Center, giving the opportunity for our Industry Partners to teach a small focused group of designers a particular technology related to their areas of specialization or expertise

Tentative Dates:  2/10/15; 6/09/15; 9/08/15, 11/2015

Cost to Participate: $350 + raffle prizes

(ASID Office L&L)   Maximum 20 designers in attendance

Includes lunch purchased by the Chapter

Includes email marketing to promote the event

Free to designer attendees, registration is on a first-come basis

Raffle prizes for participants or small prizes for Q&A “quiz “encouraged

Or

Cost to Participate: $500+ raffle prizes

(Showroom L&L)  30-40 designer capacity

Includes lunch purchased by the industry partner host

Includes email marketing to promote the event

Free to designer attendees, registration is on a first-come basis

Raffle prizes for participants or small prizes for Q&A “quiz” encouraged

 

 

Networking Mixers

These are industry mixer opportunities to be held at the Industry Partner’s location of choice, giving the opportunity for our Industry Partners to network with a small focused group of 20-30 designers for a breakfast or happy hour gathering.  The focus is to provide a networking opportunity between the industry partner staff and ASID OC designers for (1) hour

Dates Available: Cannot be held the same week as another ASID OC event or general meeting

Cost to Participate: $500

Includes email blast to design practitioners

Vendor/Industry Partner is responsible for providing a breakfast or happy hour refreshments (appetizers/wine)

Holiday Celebration

Annual holiday celebration luncheon or dinner.  This is festive networking opportunity.  Event includes entertainment, meal, prizes donated/sponsored by select Industry Partner(s); event sponsors will be recognized in all event marketing

ASID OC Design Expo Re-Imagined

Annual event focused on our Industry Partners.  It is an opportunity to network and showcase your company’s products and services to our designer community.  In lieu of our general meeting, this event will offer a relaxed, casual and fun evening of networking, dining and education.  Participating Industry Partners will be encouraged to contribute to the evening festivities by offering raffles, enticing door prizes and product brochures and catalogs. Participating vendors can utilize their spaces at their discretion to best maximize the marketing of their products and services (no pipe and drape will be utilized to delineate your space).

 

Date/Time: May 6, 2015 (4:00-9:00pm)

Location: Garden Pavilion @ Irvine Hotel

Configurations: Tabletops and booths available in 10×10 increments

Loyalty Program: Returning vendor registration December 1, 2014- January 9, 2015

Returning expo participants who sign up in the month of December 2014 receive premier booth selection option; vendor to select their top 3 booth space selections and will be placed on a first come basis (note: we will make sure when possible that vendors will not be placed near competing vendors)

Wine & Design Event

Evening Event to showcase designer talent in designing a window vignette; designers to partner with an Industry Partner showroom for a progressive showroom tour; event tickets required; attendance open to all designers and industry partners and general public.

Chairs for Charity

The resurrection of a previously implemented designer event; designers (can collaborate with an Industry Partners to) design and fabricate a chair of their choice; completed chairs to be displayed for silent auction in a public venue; portion of proceeds to go to our selected charity the Ronald McDonald House of Orange County and the funding of our community service project; Media sponsorship opportunities available.

Community Service Project

We will undertake a community service project in the summer of 2015 that will involve renovations to the Ronald McDonald House in Orange, California.  In-kind donations and monetary sponsorship opportunities will be available.  Areas proposed for renovation include: kitchen, dining area, common area bathrooms, sanctuary, media room, guest bedrooms and guest bathrooms.

Gala (Board of Directors Installation & Design Awards Ceremony)

The largest event of the year for ASID Orange County Industry Partners and designers.  This evening is a celebration of design excellence, the installation of our incoming leadership and our annual meeting.

Bronze level $500:  includes 2 tickets to the event, brand recognition in all marketing materials and at the event

Title Sponsor: A Branding Opportunity to be in front of our membership all year. It is a 3 part sponsorship:

2.) A sponsored amount of $1500-$2,300 for website submission for overseeing designer submissions, adding photos to our slider, creating judging passwords, adding new sponsorship logos and maintenance of ongoing submission and winner’s gallery

By doing so, I understand that…

1.            If I want to participate as an ASID OC Expo 2015 Sponsor for ASID OC Expo 2015, I have until January 9, 2015, to submit this completed Promissory Agreement directly to the Sponsorship Liaison as per the instructions listed at the bottom of this document.

2.            ASID OC Expo 2015 booth placements will be based on the submittal date/time of this completed Promissory Agreement.

3.            I MUST purchase my Sponsorship online (choosing either the credit card payment option or the check payment option) via the link provided by ASID OC Expo 2015 between January 2, 2015 – January 16, 2015.

4.            If I choose to pay by check for my Sponsorship, then I must PAY IN FULL by February 27, 2015. If I fail to do so, then I will forfeit my Sponsorship, and it will be made available to another vendor. If I have also purchased booths, my exact booth locations will be forfeited, but the booths themselves will not be forfeited, and the Committee will subsequently have full control of the placement of my booths.

5.            At or after January 21, 2015 (date subject to change), I will sign a Sponsorship Agreement Form specific to my particular sponsorship, which will also detail out my booth selections (if applicable).
