Designer Profile

I am keenly aware of the transformative effect good design can have on the quality of my client's lives. Our homes nurture us, and provide the ultimate environment to convey who we are and celebrate the unique story of our lives. I believe when your home reflects who you are, you experience a sense of peace and harmony. We are deeply and personally affected by color, pattern, and texture. When our homes are harmonious, so are our lives. My philosophy takes luxury design to a deeper level. Luxury is less about the 'things' that fill your home and more about the way those things make you feel. Inspiration comes to me from client's daily lives. I learn a lot about my client's personal style when they share and talk about their lives with me. I listen, watch and take it all in so that I can create homes where my clients say, "Wow...this is so me!"

Awards & Publications

My passion and talent for design has been honored by my peers with Platinum and Gold Awards for Bedroom Design, Bathroom Design and Special Spaces Design. My ability to transform spaces has led me to become the premier designer for two years running on the nationally televised TV series, Merge with Lisa Rinna. Still, for me, the most rewarding part of my job is seeing the sheer joy on my client's face when they truly love their newly designed home.

I designed this space for a beach bungalow in Laguna Beach. My client is a busy doctor and she requested a zen, spa experience where she could relax after a very demanding day. She said, mission accomplished!

This was a space I did for the ASID Dream House, 2012. I was inspired by old school Hollywood glamour. I found when people were touring the design house, they didn't want to leave this space. They said it was very happy room! A prime example on how color can effect mood.
Transitional Master Bedroom
I designed this space for a client who LOVES Italy. This Powder Room is adjacent to my clients wine cellar. When you are in this space, you truly feel like you have been transported to Italy. It's a true joy to be able to take a very plain rectangular box with builder quality fixtures and transform it into a space that reminds my client of a favorite destination.
The client requested sleek, clean lines and monochromatic colors. They said it was better than anything they could have ever imaged! I really enjoy doing contemporary spaces. The principals of good design are the same regardless if the project is traditional, transitional or contemporary. It's all fabulous spacial art.
This contemporary Living Room was designed for two young, married attorneys. They wanted it to fun and sophisticated. They were thrilled with the results!
This Foyer provides powerful drama when you enter it. It's bold and unforgettable. This space was custom built to joined the main house with the guest house. Notice how I designed the ceiling treatment to echo the flooring design. Good design is all in the details.
This space was designed for a creative writer and photographer whose favorite color is red. She has a very playful, youthful sense of humor and the graphic wallpaper spoke to that part of her personality.
I loved creating this Ski Chalet Great Room in Idaho. Most of the furnishings were custom and I incorporated some unique antiques from local stores. This was a custom built home that I worked on from the ground up.
Newport Beach elegance at it's finest. This was a compete remodel project. It was originally all white builder tile and white carpet. It was such a dramatic transformation. The client was over the moon happy!
For this baby girl's nursery we went all out! My client had two beatiful son's and when she learned her third child was going to be a girl, she said, pink, pink, pink...and ruffles and bows! We delivered and the client was thrilled!
I designed this reading nook for a home in Irvine. The client, originally from Austrelia, wanted to transform this hall space into an Aussie paradise complete with all her children's favorite animals. Moments after we positioned the last items on installation day, both children came running in, books in hand, to enjoy their new space. It was so much fun to watch that happen!
